Pasko 2014 CBLK Maxicards

Hi!

I would like to share with you today, another SPECIAL ISSUE by Creo by Lady Katutz and PHLpost Las Piñas City Post Office with special cancellation of December 25, 2014.

The handmade embossed cards are created under my Hobby Creo by Lady Katutz.  Colors are chosen to complement the colors of the Pasko 2014 PHLpost stamps.

These Handmade Maxicards were done following the issuance by PHLpost of Pasko 2014 postage stamps.  These stamps came in a set of 4.

The main concept of these set of handmade maxicards is to depict A Happy Christmas with the Filipino family celebrating under a Christmas tree.

Here are my Handmade Pasko 2014 Maxicards:

Under FIAP and FIP these maxicards won't qualify for exhibition under the traditional concordance rule.   The above are non-traditional CBLK handmade maxicards.

These looks very much a spoiled set of maxis as the cancellation is or has become technically not upright as to the mention of country P.O, though the cancellation is quite clear.  {sigh}

Pasko 2013 CBLK Maxicards

Hi!

I would like to share a Special Issue in 2013 of Pasko 2013 Creo by Lady Katutz Maxicards.  This was done following PHLpost's release of Pasko 2013 postage stamps and mini sheet.  The postage stamps and Mini sheet are from the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (A.M.F.P.A.)

For the REGULAR PASKO 2013 postage stamp SET OF 4, my Christmas or Holiday Maxicards were cancelled December 25, 2013.  As mentioned, a special issue collection done in both gold and regular maximaphily black ink.

Here they are:

1st maxicard above: CBLK's Happy Holiday postcard cancelled in black ink
2nd maxicard above: CBLK's Happy Holiday postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the regular Pasko 2013 set of 4 postage stamp

1st maxicard above: CBLK's Joy with Family on Christmas Eve postcard cancelled in black ink
2nd maxicard above: CBLK's Joy with Family on Christmas Eve postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the regular Pasko 2013 set of 4 postage stamp

1st maxicard above: CBLK's Merry Christmas postcard cancelled in black ink
2nd maxicard above: CBLK's Merry Christmas postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the regular Pasko 2013 set of 4 postage stamp

maxicard above: CBLK's Merry Christmas, Dear Santa postcard cancelled in black ink
stamp: 1 of the regular Pasko 2013 set of 4 postage stamp

--o0o--

For the Pasko 2013 Mini Sheet, I have prepared and have the same cards chosen for each of the 3 stamps belonging in the Pasko 2013 Mini Sheet.

Here they are:

maxicard above: CBLK's Happy Holidays postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the Mini Sheet Pasko 2013 stamps from the set of 3

maxicard above: CBLK's Merry Christmas, Dear Santa postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the Mini Sheet Pasko 2013 stamps from the set of 3

maxicard above: CBLK's Joy with Family on Christmas Eve postcard cancelled in gold ink
stamp: 1 of the Mini Sheet Pasko 2013 stamps from the set of 3

Due to the glossy nature of my postcards and due to the Holiday rush, some of the postmark cancellation are not quite clear.  Some are slightly smudged with the postmark a bit sliding upon postmarking or cancellation.

Writings CBLK Maxicard

Hi!

I would like to share with you now another Handmade Maxicard from my Creo by Lady Katutz Collection.

This handmade maxicard was created for the Philippine's or PHLpost's 160th National Stamp Collecting Month Celebration last year November 2014.  Though the handmade cards prepared were cancelled only January 30, 2015, these were still postmarked cancelled for the mentioned occasion or celebration.

The handmade postcards was created under my hobby Creo by Lady Katutz in shades of colors to complement PHLpost's stamp release for the said 160th milestone celebration.  November 2014 was the 160th year from issuance of the very first Philippine stamps.

Here are my CBLK Handmade maxicards:

Due to the embossed nature of the Handmade Maxicards the postmark cancellation is slightly clear.  My apologies as we tried our best to cancel it as clearly as possible.

Valentine's Day 2015 CBLK Maxicard Set

Hi, everyone!

I would like to share bits and pieces of my
Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK)
maxicards.

These are my own card designs printed into postcards, turned maxicards with Las Piñas City Post Office.  Here is my one set from this year's Valentine's Month or 2015 Valentine's Day CBLK Collection:

My CBLK Valentine's Day postcard created for and printed as tribute to both communities of Filipino Scrapbookers Club and Philippine Crafters Association, turned Maxicard.

My CBLK Handmade Valentine's Day Postcard turned Handmade Maxicard. =)

The philatelic stamp is a Valentine's Day release in year 2013 by PHLpost.

Per Maximaphily Exhibition purposes (FIP and FIAP), I believe both maxicards need to contain a clear cancellation.  The Handmade Maxicard could just be a clear heart abstraction per FIP traditional concordance rule.

"A Family Together" Layout for Book of Life - Birthday Album 2015

Hi!

On a spur of the moment early this morning,
I created another mixed media layout.
It's the 14th 12x12 LO for my Book of Life - Birthday Album 2015.

I just went on and on with the thought of consuming more of the scraps from my 2013 workshop attended class of Pia Salem-Lopez at the once Treasured Memories in BF Parañaque.

Here is how my layout looks:

Layout Artisan Entry #3 at With Love Studio: Family Traditions

Hi, everyone!

I made it to the 3rd round, though finishing last of the cut.

For the 3rd week of the Layout Artisan Competition at With Love Studio, we were to create something to show our Family Traditions.

Here is my artisan layout for Week 3:

I utilized inchies technique in block style format for my 3rd layout in the competition.

As a family, we observe every holiday, event and milestone together. . . . from New Year's, Valentine's Day, Parent's Wedding Anniversary, Birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Sibling's Day, All Saint's Day, family vacations to Christmas.

We cap it off with a family photo as our souvenir for every event and holiday.

It has been my scrappable photos for years, creating family layouts after family layouts.  Though lately, I've started creating an album of me.  I'm now enjoying both a ME scrapbook album and a FAMILY scrapbook album to digitally compiled printed FAMILY books for the living room.

Thanks for keeping it up with me.

I hope and here's to making it to the 4th Week of the Competition.

"XOXO" Layout for Book of Life - Birthday Album 2015

Hi!

I was really adamant to use up my scraps from a layout class 2 years ago in 2013.
This page also forms part of my Book of Life Birthday Album for 2015.  It is my 13th LO for the album.

I estimate that I could even reach 15 LOs, but I'm not pushing myself on the thought terribly hard.  With my current commitments in all sort of hobbies I'm in, I would rather work at leisure at a budgeted pace.

Here's my 13th Book of Life Birthday 12x12 layout:

Flower Postcards and Flower Stamps III: (Hibiscus - Gumamela)

Hi, everyone!

With the Heritage Month, the University of the Philippines with PHLpost released a Hybrid Gumamela Stamp Issue.  The Stamp Sheet in Hybrid Gumamela Centennial Series, while the Mini Sheet is in Hybrid Gumamela Millenium Series.

The stamps are shown below:

 Hybrid Gumamela Stamps of 4
(Centennial Series)

Hybrid Gumamela Stamps of 4 Mini Sheet
(Millenium Series)

I'm sharing another series of Flower Postcards and Flower Stamps with a focus on Gumamela, known also as Hibiscus.

The cards are Hibiscus (Gumamela) CBLK Postcards with Hybrid Hibiscus PHLpost stamps.  The Hibiscus CBLK Postcards belongs to the May Flower Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK) Postcard Collection for 2015.

To read more of my CBLK Hibiscus (Gumamela) postcards released June 15, 2015,

(my 5th and 6th batch of CBLK 2015 postcards printed).

Here are my copies of my mailed out cards:

I believe I chanced upon seeing these Philippine Hybrid Gumamela when I attended an event at the University of the Philippines - Los Baños, Laguna.

Here is a photo taken of the 2 Gumamela flowering plants:

They indeed look like the Hybrid Gumamela on PHLpost's Heritage Month stamps.

Here's to more PHLpost stamp release under the flora category!

Cheers!!
