I had these 4 travel photos of mine decoupaged for I guess about 5 years ago just waiting to find the papier tole shop I used to go to to have them lodged in a frame. Since they've moved to another location which is not that accessible for me in those days, I have shelved the said project . . . not until the 1st quarter of last year 2011.
I saw an artist's tray project from the album of one of my new-found scrapbooking friend or acquaintance, Janis Maghinay on the 1st Qtr of 2011. Being new to the crafting hobby at that time, she taught & accompanied me to an LSS where she regularly goes for her crafting needs. And lo and behold, I saw this 7Gypsies Artist's Tray and bought it thinking of my forlorn decoupaged photos. The tray stayed with me for a year seeing no action until I saw how to decorate an artist's tray from Iris Uy. Though I didn't use mixed media on this one like Iris does, it's only now that I chanced upon the right pattern papers from Basic Grey, MME "Follow Your Heart" 6x6 paper pads, Stampers Anonymous & Dusty Attic chipboards and the project got underway. I'm sooo happy to have seen through this papier tole turned into artist's tray project!!
