I always remember how friends play a major role

when I was young, secondary to my parents.

I guess what I could only think of is to encourage kids

to meet new friends and nourish or maintain friendships

as they grow old.  They will remain with you (hopefully) even

after their parents are gone.

I decided to go on a clean and simple handmade card for

this challenge - a die cut, a worded digi stamp and my handmade card is complete:
