Here's my layout for the said challenge:

"Altered Bank Notebook" for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #161 - ABC

Kaboodle Doodles' Challenge #161 is "Anything but a Card". You could submit any project as long as it fits the challenge theme. Winner to be drawn randomly with sponsor prize of 5 digis from Eureka Stamps, Tues. March 12, 2013 at US timezone. Participants have until Sun., March 10, 2013 to link their entries at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.

Altering the bank notebook, I got as a gift, was the only thing that came to mind  . . . after I shelved creating an artist's tray for this challenge.  I got excited with the notebook being of kraft materials and adding laces which complements the sponsored digital image (Sunflower and Butterfly) by Eureka Stamps completes the total look of my altered notebook.  I just had to ink it up and stamp on it and lastly, tie my bookmark which had been with me for a couple of years now.

SUPPLIES:  Notebook: BPI; Letter Stickers: Nikki Sivils; Digi Image: Butterfly and Sunflower by Eureka Stamps; Bookmark: Maarte, Inc.; Chipboard: Imaginarium; Ink: Ranger; Other: Laces, Cling and Wooden Stamps.

"Fatehpur Sikri - We are Family" LO for the Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge #15

This is my 2nd Indian Layout for the year for the Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog with Challenge #15.  I so much loved LG's sketch  . . . daunting but very inspirational.  Again, I was able to make use of handmade papers from India together with Tin Yao's Studio Azul kit from year 2010.  I added a heart doily, lots of pearls and crystals for a more glamorous touch to the already pretty flowery background paper.

Here's my LO for Challenge #16:

SUPPLIES: Pattern Paper: Webster’s Pages from Studio Azul 2010 Collection; Pearls: Doodlebug acquired from Luanne Pang; Sticker Sentiment Title: Cosmo Cricket’s Early Bird; Sketch: Lady Grace Belarmino of Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog; Others: Handmade Cardstock: gift by Riti Poddar from India; Handmade Paper: gift by Riti Poddar from India; Heart Doily: gift by Michelle Hodges; Stocking Butterfly: acquired from Joyleen Lim; Flowers: acquired from Ytet Solivet; Wooden Chipboard Embellishemnt (lady bugs): gift by Riti Poddar from India; Fabric Heart Embellishment: gift from Riti Poddar from India; Lavender Embroidered Ribbon: gift from Riti Poddar from India;  Gem Flowers with Swirls:  acquired from Luanne Pang.

My Craft Room - 1st Quarter of 2013

I would like to share with you how my craft room looked
now at the start of 2013 -
more than 2 years after I discovered scrapbooking . . .

The start of 2013, saw me with lots of
shelved projects.  I just keep changing my mind!
I guess this literally had my mind all a-mess
as can be evidenced by the mess left in my craft room . . .

My Craft Table:

(this month of February 2013)

(last month of January 2013)

My scrapbook trolley of supplies
(trolley gotten from my dad's old or former office)

The other fourth corner of my craft room
with littered bundles of bought supplies from last year
with no more storage bins for me to keep them.
I realized my craft room isn't big to accommodate everything. . .

Hope I can show you a tidy craft room again soon . . .

"18th Birthday Card & My Dec 8th page of my 2012 December Daily" for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #160 - Blings

Kaboodle Doodles' Challenge #160 is "Use any bling". You could submit any project as long as it fits the challenge theme. Winner to be drawn randomly with sponsor prize of $10 GC from Floppy Latte, March 5, 2013 at US timezone. Participants have until Sun., March 3, 2013 to link their entries at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.

I've been saving up my blings, specially those that I've won from last year's challenges.  But I couldn't resist utilizing a piece for this challenge - the project of which I prepared as early as last year, being my Dec. 8th page of my December Daily.  And am I so glad on how it turned out.  The bling was really the added touch to make my said page look so alive and elegant.  Here, I am sharing the said mini page album with you:

SUPPLIES: Pattern Paper: Echo Park’s Season’s Greetings Collection Kit, My Mind’s Eye’s Holly Jolly Collection Kit; Digital Date Banner: Echo Park; Flowers: Prima, Filstar Distributors Corp.; Crystals: Prima; Other: Purple Rhinestones.

I've created another project this time an "18th Birthday Card" utilizing Floppy Latte's "Always a Bridesmaid" digital image.  I was so drawn to the image the minute I saw it on Floppy Latte's catalogue that I just have to get it for my DT project.  I don't want to be unlucky in love, that's why I had an 18th birthday card created.  The digital image very much suits what I have imagined my card creation will be and I wasn't a bit disappointed with my card output after I had it done.

SUPPLIES: Cardstock: Star Paper Corp.; Pattern Paper: Daisy D’s; Digital Image: Floppy Latte’s Always a Bridesmaid; Flowers: Prima, Number Chipboard: Imaginarium; Pearls: Queen & Company; Distress Ink: Ranger; Other: ribbons; TOOLS: Paper Shapers: Provo Craft.
