Mini Art Output Collection Series 2: Hi!

Hi!

It took me a while though I started feverishly completing these next set of pages and handmade cards.  And yet, I felt there was lack of detail in all of the pages except for the handmade cards.

From March 19 to the 23rd, I was embellishing, coloring, painting and inking each of the 5 pages plus the handmade cards.  . . . embossing and doing calligraphy in everything.

Now, I've finally chosen the 2 final details on my part pages and all was done and completed.

Here I am now sharing 2 presentations done and completed out of my pages and cards:

Five art pages with:
papers for watercolor, oil painting, sketch, scrapbook and art journal.
{pages signed a day after}

Three handmade cards in a series done as:
postcard, certificate card and folded greeting card

Mini Art Output Collection Series I: The Smallest Wonders Ring the Greatest Joy

Hi!

I would like to share a presentation of
My 1st Mini Art Set Output Collection
(from pages up to cards).

I could still remember my 1st 2 Artworks I got up on a frame to decorate one of the places where I'd like to stay and rest.  And I thought of starting to create mini artworks from artpads.

I have been keeping an assortment of artpads from a watercolor pad, oil painting pad, a sketch pad and a few art journals.  They were expensive for me to procure and it shows that it took me a couple of months a few years back to complete my art materials in terms of pads, canvases, palette knives, and a palette plastic board for paints.  It was kind of a relief to have them completed in my art bin and art & craft room.  And, I know I still need to buy a few painting materials in terms of paint and other more basic consumables.

Anyway,  here's my thought of coming up with a concept and rendering a number of renditions from various kinds of textured paper to art cards, shown in 2 separate presentations below:

The above is a presentation of my art pages:
from watercolor paper;
from oil painting paper;
from sketch pad paper;
from art journal paper. . . . {sigh}

The above is my presentation of my rendition of the same into cards:
from handmade folded card;
from handmade postcard;
to certificate card.

My Postcrossing Status & Postcards Received - March 17, 2015

Hi, everyone!

I have been on an online break and have been offline for a few days and had taken respite in my own bedroom to indulge on television and work on my cards and a few art pages.

It's quite difficult to re-learn to watch television shows again.  I hope to take things light and not go on a merry-go-round with feelings and emotions with each show or movie shown on TV. {sigh}

I had taken leave from all of my postcrossing activities a few weeks ago.  And I could already feel the sadness of not receiving so many postcards in my mail.  I'm glad that I could rest from my daily postcrossing routine and of being active in various postcrossing forums, and from my swapping of postcards too.

But I do miss looking at postage stamps and the feeling of writing at the back of each postcard I want to send to my recipients together with affixing postage on the back of each postcard.  Sometimes, it's all work, albeit a lot of work for me to do so.  And I'm glad for the opportunity to take a rest from it.

I'm still to renew my P.O. Box rental as I still have a lot of pending and in transit postcard swaps, travelling postcard envelopes and travelling notebooks.  But I'm winding down from travelling notebooks and travelling postcard activities since last year.  Just waiting for all my notebooks, postcard envelope and mini scrapbook's return from travelling.

Anyway, I'm back sharing the few postcards received on March 17, 2015.

postcards from RR swap:
- a multi-view postcard from Portugal of a traditional feast of Our Lady of Agonia
- a postcard of the sanctuaire of Fatima from Portugal

"Julio" LO for Scrappy Bee

Hi, everyone!

This month's the release of

Scrappy Bee's

"Friendship" Monthly Mix digital kit:

I love this digital kit so much and found it apt to create an LO with my pet cat Julio as the main subject.  I love how the LO looks totally like a RUSS friendship theme which is somehow something that I wanted since when I was a teen . . .  to have a RUSS teddy bear.  Now, I'm content with my LO looking as such.
Thanks, Scrappy Bee Honey Bees!!

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my prepared projects with Scrappy Bee . . .

"Golden Bay" digital LO for Scrappy Bee

Hi, everyone!

I worked for the month of March 2015 with

Scrappy Bee's

Honey Bee
Just Another Scrap's

"Somebody's Hero" digital kit:

Somebody's Hero digital kit of Just Another Scrap proved to be close to my heart not just by the color scheme of the digital kit and the motif.  I love how simple the mini kit contains elements and yet speaks profoundly with its mini kit's name.

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my prepared project with Just Another Scrap . . .
Here is my CT Project for Just Another Scrap's kit:

I went minimalistic on my layout above.  I wanted so much to show off the tree watermark design of her pattern paper and decided to digi scrap traditionally too.  Not artsy in style but traditional digiscrapping.  I'm delighted how the color combination of the mini kit complements the colors in my chose photo.

"Erudite and Wisdom is Key" LO for Scrappy Bee

Today I worked with

Scrappy Bee's

Honey Bee
KM Ink's

"Intelligent" digital kit:

I was dumbfounded to work on the above kit being no one in the house is studying anymore or a student.  But it brought back memories of our days when we were struggling.  My parents struggling to make both ends meet to keep on sending us 2 children to school.

My parents in their younger years, as student, are both honor students.  Likewise,  I was also an honor student in my student days (from gradeschool, highschool, college and MBA days) and active in extra-curricular activities in school clubs and organizations.  My sister was a late bloomer and became an honor student only in her college days.  I guess we are a family of honor students from early to late bloomers.

Thus my LO below shows my love for all that is scholarly and academic.  My love for the microscope, of the periodic table, of reading the weather forecasts every typhoon signal, my being a fanatic of the study of the basic atom in our science classes, my love for physics and calculus and all the subjects in school that we have in class.  I love studying and was a voracious reader in my time.  Never a nerd but a studious student and leader in any school group activities.

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my prepared project with Scrappy Bee's Honey Bee . . .

"Cuteness Overload" LO for Sunshine Inspired Designs

Hi, everyone!

This month is the release of

Sunshine Inspired Designs (SID)'s

"Funny Bunny" digital kit:

Easter used to be one of my favorite Holidays in terms of following Catholic religious holiday of obligations to observe.  It's not that my birthday and my sister's birthday coincides with Holy Week and capped off with an Easter Sunday merriment of Easter Egg Hunts to join when me and my sister were young.  Or to just merely observe Easter Sunday's decors in hotels, malls and other places.  It's like having a double celebration in one including my birthday celebration but done in Easter Sunday motiff.  I guess Easter Sunday take over my birthday celebration most of the time.  And I'm happy about Easter Sunday celebrations and of Summer vacations taken in those days years past.

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my prepared project with Sunshine Inspired Designs . . .

"Simple Life -- Too Cute" LO for Sunshine Inspired Designs

Hi, everyone!

This month of March is the release of

Sunshine Inspired Designs (SID)'s

"Moments to Remember" digital kit:

It's a wonderful kit bundle complete from journaling cards for your Project Life albums and yet enough for your scrapbook layouts.

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my prepared project with Sunshine Inspired Designs . . .
Here is my CT Project for SID's kit release:

I thought of going artsy with a play of digital paints and artsy papers of the Moments to Remember digital kit.  I guess my layout shows how I'd look like loving the Simple Life.  I guess, I believe that one's life should always remain Simple and Uncomplicated rendering not too many problems to solve or resolve.

We may pass thru obstacles and hurdles that life may bring but we must always remember to remain strong and steadfast.  Life is sweet and should remain as such with one's love for self remaining, one's love for family intact and one's love for community and people who touched our lives never forgotten.

I guess to remain with a Simple and yet a Complicated Life is such an instance that remains too cute to handle.  One should strive to remain in one's life balance leading a harmonious day-to-day with regular highs and a few lows with our neighbors, friends and family.

They say remain or live for the moment and not collect things 'coz moments become memories we live by.

 Please visit the Scrappy Bee

Thanks and happy shopping!!
