Donations for A Cause: CBLKD Postcard Collaborative Works with CMD, IBDD, Scrappy Bee and SID

I had in previous post
shared my project for a cause
since year 2012 and maybe even
earlier.

 . . .  with my postcarding work
of my photography and other more.

Now, I would like to share further more
my postcarding work donations for a cause
thru my hobby of postcrossing.

As the type of postcards that can be sent
from my country are limited to touristic photography postcards
except for another store who produces more touristic postcards in graphic art design,
I plunged into creating my own postcards since year 2012
thru digi art and / or digital scrapbook art.

These postcards I do create I send freely
thru postcrossing to help postcard collectors
and themed card collectors to my own art cards.

And no, not a museum had yet financed my postcards.
And I did wished to have my postcards be museum cards too here in my country someday.

In the previous posts I shared my postcarding work in different art mediums.  Now I would like to share and thank my sponsors of digital scrapbook supplies for my digiart to digital scrapbook art postcards.

They are:

Crescent Moon Designs turned Charly Renay Designs;
Inspired by Dominic Designs (had closed up);
Scrappy Bee (a digital scrapbook kit supplies store); and
Sunshine Inspired Designs

I started with each in chronological order working for them as their Creative Team Member to Product Kit Writer to Social Media Accounts Writer to their own Blog Writers of their Digital Scrapbook Kit Products.

It was a fun job and I do get to work with all of their products for free, with me as a Layout Artisan for them.  With extra work as Freebie Makers and other more work behind the scenes for them, they granted me and allowed me use of their same products also for my postcarding work.  This made them my sponsors for my Postcarding work which I make use in my hobby of Postcrossing.

Since, I made it as a Postcrossing.com & PHLpost Ambassador in year 2015,
I would like to thank my digital scrapbook kit supplies bosses
for helping me reach this milestone last year in 2015
with my postcarding work project for a cause,
for reaching the benchmark for
the number of postcards sent and received.
And also writing my experience about
Postcrossing.com and what postcrossing is all about.

Writing about postcrossing did clinched finally the
Ambassador spot for me.

My postcarding work never became an earning business for me.
It has remained solely a Project for A Cause.

It was something that I never thought of at first
but really grateful to be and had become
an Ambassador in doing so in so many ways.

And, yes, I was really finding it off
with such huge expense for me to carry
for such postcard production
(for many companies, this is just for them, minimal production)
But this is only how much I can carry and
do for the love of my hobby and for art.

Thanks, everyone!

Thanks, Charly R., Tiffany Nicole B.,
the team I was with at Scrappy Bee from the graphic designers to social media team to praise team and to Digital Scrapbook Kit Designers, and
also Thanks to Ania A.!!

Donations Projects for A Cause: Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK) Crossstitch SAP Patterns for A Cause

Hi, everyone!

Last November 26, 2016,
I hand-delivered and donated to
DMC thru both Dreams Yarnshoppe and DMC Philippines
my 15 sets of Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK) SAP Crossstitch Patterns.

Dreams Yarnshoppe's Signed Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK)
Transmittal Receiving Forms

Half of the 15 sets of my CBLK SAP crossstitch patterns
were marked for DMC's outreach projects
(may the projects or events)
be thru only charitable institutions or
may these be DMC Philippines' own outreach projects and/or events.

The above includes also Dreams Yarnshoppe's
fundraising activities.

The other half of my 15 sets of CBLK SAP crossstitch patterns
were marked ready and allowed to be utilized
for commercial use by DMC.

my own box of Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK) crossstitch patterns
while I write my finalized details on the yellow envelopes
which the huge yellow envelopes are
now hand-delivered to Dreams Yarnshoppe
to reach DMC

I pray that DMC Philippines together with
Dreams Yarnshoppe could entertain
the possibility of having my designs into
bonafide DMC's color charts,
which I'd be glad and honored to have souvenirs of
for my keeping.

My 15 SAP crossstitch patterns are in
colored SAP Crossstitch patterns or
done in colored SAP Crossstitch patterns.

Do ask Dreams Yarnshoppe and DMC Philippines
for my tapestry-like sets of CBLK Crossstitch Patterns
for your own charitable institutions fundraising to
bonafide outreach activities.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017 !!

DONATIONS FOR A CAUSE: Social Media for A Cause

Hi!

I have been a bit or a little bit of a food aficionado.  Better a food taster than a cook.

I am now a retired Travel and Food Reviewer for Trip Advisor but I still keep on with my Food Photography.  My foray in this avenue especially with my Food Photography appearing in various establishment's review in Trip Advisor, my Creo by Lady Katutz Facebook page and my various social media platforms,  has been my SOCIAL MEDIA FOR A CAUSE.

Some of my Food Photography Art are chosen to be the main or banner photo of some establishments affiliated with Trip Advisor at no cost.

It is promoting and marketing each food establishment thru my Social Media and writing reviews for them for a CAUSE.  AND NO, I'M NOT PAID FOR EACH POST I DO in this arena.  Maybe others do just get a treat with my work, sad to say for myself. {sigh}

I retired from Trip Advisor - A TOP CONTRIBUTOR.
In my area, I'm the 2nd Top Contributor writing for them.
I'm retired now.

I thought I can go be a food blogger too.  I tried but the writing "gusto" is just not there to write within my Creo by Lady Katutz blog.  My Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK) blog remains an Artist's Blog.  I was hoping I could share my foray albeit a little venture into the food industry.

I did start sharing my Pastry Chef baking endeavour on my blog for a year until I had stopped and ventured into writing as a foodie / food and travel reviewer.

What's left is MY FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY appearing on all of my social media platforms, especially if you're a newly opened food establishment for everyone. I apply all my designing and creative powers to create a wonderful and tasteful food layout, provided it is matched with the best plating or if for a coffeeshop, with the best coffee art you can show for my viewers.  And, I hashtag each establishment with my photo art.

THIS IS MY SOCIAL MEDIA FOR A CAUSE.
And I do pay for and choose the food I shoot
since the start and up to now.

This is going on for sometime now
unless we do have a family celebration,
that I do it on the side.
But the photo isn't always pretty wonderful.

Bests done alone at times for me to do for you and for everyone.

Bests,

Donations for A Cause: CBLK-LKP Community Postcard Work

Now, how do I start to tell my story?

It's how I got started with
my photography art
as Lady Katutz Photography . . .

My 1st philatelic transaction with the Bureau of Customs - Las Piñas City P.O. branch is claiming postcards and stamps purchases from Postallove.com; Royal Mail and Mr. Dorin Cojocariu who is the Housekeeper of Zazzle.com.

I was already a known for such purchases with LPCPO - BOC and we got to discuss what can be my contribution to the community as I was already a retiree.

Discussions went to art communities, Las Piñas circle of communities to Philippine philatelic communities.

I did say, I can only do little with the small amount I have when I ended my forays as an employee in the corporate world - whether private to public offices and entities.

I opened myself to the discussion of the lack of variety of our postcards focusing primarily on touristic cards.

I already discussed my forays into themed to holiday postcards in a previous post.  Now, I'm opening my discussion with going into producing flora and fauna postcards, as I used to be a DLSU Camera Club officer in my student days in my last year in college in 1993 with no adventure trips or projects at that time for fear for the studentry.

For least cost, I further opened myself to focusing on flower garden photography for my flora postcards.  And to cat postcard photography as my fauna postcards.

I started my photography with my pet cat Bibang in year 2011 with my Iphone 3G.

I have been driven with the motto of Sipag at Tiyaga since my student days in the 1990s for it is how driven I was to study and work at home.  That is all I have in that time.

And, we saw, that started with Manny Villar of Las Piñas City which is freely espoused by Filipino citizens in business, trade, commerce or those who are deep into community work.

There is now a "Villar Sipag" community development in my city of residence for years now.

I started work, as Creo by Lady Katutz with Lady Katutz Photography, seeing Las Piñas City Hall's and Villar's work on the Las Piñas Garden Club . . . . where village gardens are tended with supplies for gardening and flowering plants available for Las Piñas residents to cultivate their own home gardens.  Parks were also renewed and not turned into lots or land with buildings or more housing units.

My dad tended our family garden and I took into garden photography and photography with my house pets, working my magic in turning my photos captured into photography art to meet some artistic merit.

My photography work turned into flora and fauna postcards are also enough to meet the needs and demands of fellow postcrossers who are keen on certain flora or kind of nature photography to add to their postcard collection.

I spent my time, my funds and own resources to turn my flower and cat photography art into postcards to send on thru regular postcrossing, for maximaphily use also and to send to a few friends.

The above was a Project - "Brighten a Postcrossers' Day" with wonderful postcards or mail for them . . . . may they be collectors, or postcrossers with depression, or just plain photography aficionados.

My very 1st flower photography - Roses, appeared in Florence, Italy at the Ximenes Palace as a curated Contemporary artist of curators Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo for Uffizi Museum.  I believe myself a Contemporary Artist Photographer.

Thanks!

PLEASE NOTE:  I didn't receive funds for this project or for this donation project.

Donations for A Cause: CBLK at Postcrossing.com & their Postcrossers

In 1998, when I was a new experience hire
at my Government Financial Institution (GFI),
we asked ourselves of our dreams and aspirations
while we do our accounting work at the office.

I'll admit to this post one of which and that is
to collect postcard booklets from travels and
also to send and receive dedicated postcards from across the globe or
from around the world.

We discussed it as we toil in our office accountancy work day-to-day.
And we saw the lack of appreciation for the art of collecting postcards,
the making of good Filipino postcards to the art of sending postcards to someone.

I did say I'll find someone who espouse such dream and
work for him and his project team.

We saw that the Philippines, our country, has limited choices of postcards to send at that time.  And it will be needed from me to go or do postcarding work which means that I need to design and produce more themed postcards aside from tourist postcards that we all enjoy and have to this day.  Add to that are bio cards which I also use now to teach international postcrossers our Filipino Heritage and History.

I did find in year 2013,
the postcard and postcrossing project that is
which started only in year 2006.
This is a year after I retired from corporate employment.
But I discovered them only 7 years after and
registered as a postcrosser in year 2013.

This is so after I became equipped with,
as Creo by Lady Katutz Designs (CBLKD),
in designing my own postcards to send
aside from regular tourist postcards that we do have and can send.

These are from birthday themed, holiday themed,
friendship themed, community postcards and
my own art cards with the help of
American designers of digital supplies and materials.

I found them all thru my digital scrapbooking forays,
my international digital supplies and materials.

I started buying in year 2011,
digital supplies and materials
starting from Jessica Sprague.com, then Lettering Delights,
Mye De Leon before she became Mye De Leon Designs to name a few . . .
{names are found on my blog's right sidebar for the others}
and so on and so forth . . .

I was buying until I earned the title of Design Team (DT) Member of
individual Digital to Graphic Designers to
a Digital Shop.

I worked with them as a DT member and
do postcard COLLABORATIVE WORK with each one
in my endeavour to liven up more fellow postcrossers out there
in search of such specific kind and category postcards
with due credits given to the people I work in collaborative effort.

{I hope to share
my POSTCARD COLLABORATIVE WORKs
in another or in a series of posts}

My other postcards, I did my own photography work and
named it as a Lady Katutz Photography (LKP).
{I hope I can show my photography work for a cause
for postcrossing purposes in another post}

PLEASE NOTE:  I didn't receive funds for this project or for this donation project.

I did FUND my postcard designs production and
sent my postcards on.

It was enough for me to hear and receive their messages of
warm thanks for such postcards sent to my postcrosser recipients and friends.

Others were kind enough to send their own
thank you postcards or thank you maxicards
for my own collection.

Many thanks and may we find more of God's gift within ourselves in sharing our talent, resources and ourselves.

Sincerely,

A Donation Project: My BnC Parilla Butterfly Sprite Needlecrafts Postcards

In attendance last National Heroes Day in November 2015 at the Proud Pinoy Stitchers Meeting at SM Megamall, I was chosen with my own arsenal for:

A Project with a Cause for me to do as:

Lady Kat (Kat-Kat in my younger years) with my hobby of Brooches n Crossstitches (BnC) as the crossstitcher;

Lady Katutz (Katutz in my toddler years) now with my hobby of Creo by Lady Katutz Designs (CBLKD) as the postcarder or postcard designer & maker; and

Lady Kath (Kathleen - my real name) as the Philippine's Postcrossing.com Ambassador as the writer and sender of Needlecrafts postcards & promoter of Amorsolo National Art DMC Philippines crossstitch patterns.

This is my 1st year to fulfill the above chosen duties for me to do with the proddings of Proud Pinoy Stitchers (PPS) with the knowledge of DMC Philippines from their main Megamall Store, and with consultation of DMC Philippine Artist Aldrin Jay Parilla to do a postcard rendition after stitching his designed, with an addition of my own mini silk ribbon embroidery on his Butterfly crossstitch design.

My Needlecrafts 2 own-designed postcards are to help the embroidery industry as a former embroidery artisan of my own hobby of Brooches n Crossstitches since 1985.  Focusing primarily on crossstitching thru the years, and now with silk ribbon embroidery in tow as my own addition to Parilla's crossstitch design pattern, my Needlecrafts 2 postcard of my BnC Parilla's Butterfly Sprite is to help proliferate the know-how and knowledge transfer in being a DMC Crossstitch Designer for our own country.  This is to further promote Filipino crossstitch designers of our country, the Philippines.

Parilla is the 1st DMC Philippine Artist to have his crossstitch designs into DMC Philippines' crossstitch patterns.  This is aside from our Filipino Artists - from our very 1st National Artist Fernando Amorsolo to living Philippine Artist Manuel Baldemor to mini Philippine Graphic Designers and add me to the list as Philippine Crossstitch Artist - Lady Kat of Brooches n Crossstitches (BnC) under Creo by Lady Katutz (CBLK).

For my Deltiology post:

Here's looking forward for a 1st fruitful year working for the proliferation of Filipino crossstitch designers ingenuity / ingenuinity in crafting and designing for our crossstitching public.  And, may we reach the international crossstitching , needlecrafts and embroidery community worldwide with our own.

PLEASE NOTE:  I didn't receive funds for this project or for this donation project.

Kudos to us!!

A Donation Project: My BnC Amorsolo Girl with Mangoes Needlecrafts Postcards

When I got news that Amorsolo National Art has been turned and rendered into Amorsolo Crossstitch Design Patterns with the return of DMC Philippines, I hurriedly looked for a DMC store near me only to find out that the nearest Crossstitch Store carrying DMC products and Amorsolo's National Art crossstitch patterns is none other than Dreams Yarnshoppe, in Glorietta 5- Makati City.

They have a crossstitch, crochet and other thread crafts community forming at their shoppe.  I got to converse to most of their community goers, happy for having a Dreams Yarnshoppe near them.  I told them what I love to do and usually gets busy with in a day or daily . . . . my being a hobbyist turned into a full-time artist in this day of millenium.

Janet of Dreams Yarnshoppe together with the others chose me, if I could manage with my time and resources, to help the threads industry.  I told them I would like to help with my crossstitch pattern and kit purchases from their shop but focusing only on Needlecrafts with the return of DMC in our country with the re-birth of a new DMC Philippines.

A Project with a Cause for me as:

- Lady Kat (Kat-Kat in my younger years) with my hobby of Brooches n Crossstitches (BnC) as the crossstitcher;

- Lady Katutz (Katutz in my toddler years) now with my hobby of Creo by Lady Katutz Designs (CBLKD) as the postcarder or postcard designer & maker; and

- Lady Kath (Kathleen - my real name) as the Philippine's Postcrossing.com Ambassador as the writer and sender of Needlecrafts postcards & promoter of Amorsolo National Art DMC Philippines crossstitch patterns.

This is my 2nd year to fulfill the above chosen duties for me to do with the proddings of Dreams Yarnshoppe, also with the knowledge of DMC Philippines from their Megamall Store, and with the proddings of Proud Pinoy Stitchers to do it for the 2nd year with my consent.

My Needlecrafts postcards recipients for the 1st year thru regular postcrossing are crossstitch aficionados and some of them are crossstitchers whose works appears in crossstitch magazines in their country.  Others are crossstitchers whose works have been translated into postcards and are genuinely happy that the Philippines has such own Filipino works, art and designs in crossstitch.

Here's looking forward for a 2nd fruitful year working for the proliferation of Filipino crossstitch & needlecrafts ingenuity with our very 1st Philippine National Artist Fernando Amorsolo's national art in crossstitch.

PLEASE NOTE:  I didn't receive funds for this project or for this donation project.

Kudos to us!!

Gingerbread Christmas Cards for St. Jude Hospital's children

Hi friends!

As promised, I've made HIS & HERS Gingerbread Christmas Cards for the children at St. Jude Cancer Hospital after receiving my materials from the post office yesterday afternoon.  The cards were created in a jiffy and finished in the evening of yesterday Friday (Manila timezone).  I just have to wait for the glitter glues to dry and was only able to take a photo of these 2 cards a few minutes ago.  Thus in a baker's perspective, the cards are fresh from the oven. LOL

If you'd guess I just came in from a whole day baking session and got to shift to scrapbooking or rather cardmaking right this very afternoon minute. {sigh}  I think I wouldn't want to see another baked good for now until tomorrow. LOL  Too much baking in my head that I want to rest. {sigh}  I still have my baking preparations to do for the week for next weekend's baking session again.  {breathe, breathe LOL}  But I do enjoy it! {wink, wink}  I just need to have time for everything on my to do lists from my hobbies, errands and to baking assignments.  Will post my newly baked goods tomorrow for everyone to see.  I better hurry and take a picture before they are consumed!  LOL

Anyway back to my cards,  I suddenly have a thing with a set of HIS & HERS . . . from the tags I've previously made with Colorful Creations and now with these Christmas cards . . . though we were asked to make 2 cards (1 for a boy & 1 for a girl).

All the materials are from Nikki Sivils Gingerbread line except for the cardstock and the glitter glue.  The Gingerbread Line is so adorable and easy to work with.  It will inspire you to create and create to your heart's content. {sigh}

Without further ado, here they are:

With the "ladies first!" phrase,
here's my Gingerbread Girl Christmas Card:

Now, as a true gentleman coming in last . . .
here's my Gingerbread Boy Christmas Card:

There, promise fulfilled
and as they say,
"Better Late Than Never!"

Hope you liked my Christmas Cards! =)
