Unfortunately, there's no English translation included in the letter, nor did they send a Santa Claus cover in containing the Letter reply from Slovenia.

But I thank Posta Slovenije in Maribor, 

for the cute gifts from their country:

A Coloring Booklet to feed the Kreative Kolorista in me;

a bookmark to feed the bookworm in me; &;

a cute notepad for my notes and messages in

performing my tasks, may it be in the arts and crafts

or in postcrossing.

Las Piñas City Christmas Philatelic & Maximaphily Meet 2015

Hi, everyone!

I'm so glad that a 2nd Meet for the year with the 2 of us has transpired last December 27, 2015.  We now call ourselves the Las Piñas City Mini Group on Philately and Maximaphily.

I'm also glad to be back at a Starbucks establishment which was the very 1st coffeeshop establishment I did go decades ago when the industry of coffee proliferated in our country as or thru coffeeshops.

I would frequent Starbucks 6750 and Greenbelt in those days.  Now, we also have Starbucks in the place or city where I live, or where I'd usually go to in Las Piñas City.

Going back to our Christmas 2015 Meet.  I was able to prepare Christmas 2015 re-issuance of Christmas 2014 Maxicards as one of our Meeting Cards.  Alongside this, I also prepared a number of Postcrossing Meeting Cards for the discipline and blossoming group of philately and maximaphily with the 2 of us.

We signed our cards and chatted away . . . of this year's releases or PHLpost stamps issuances which my companion brought to the meet to share with me.  I brought along my Maxicard Collection all in an album.  She with philatelic stamps and I with my maxicard collection from around the world - London, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, India, Australia and a few of my own created maxicards here and abroad, too.

I believe my companion completed her Cory Aquino painting stamp series.  I was really at a loss and in a moment of WOW of seeing each cover, mini sheet and mint sheet completing a PHLpost stamp release collection to keep.

I wish I'd be able to visit the E-Post Shop of PHLpost someday soon to beef up my own philatelic souvenirs from PHLpost.

We enjoyed much our drink and she helped me in my Starbucks sticker collection, in the hopes of completing it for a Moleskin planner.  Who knows, after a Seattle's Best journal, a Starbucks planner may be on its way for the New Year of 2016!

Letter from Pere Noel (Santa) from France

Hi, everyone!

I would like to share the very 1st of 2 Letters from Santa.  Must I say Letter Replies from Santa Claus?

Anyway, the very 1st one of 2 received December 15, 2015, is the Letter from Pere Noel from France:

I was esctatic to receive such sealed Pere Noel cover above from my P.O. Box.

And here is the content of the above sealed Cover:

It is a letter written in French with an English language translation.

With the above is a Coloring Activity Page for an Artist like me who happens to dabble a bit in Coloring as a Creative Kolorista:

World Post Day 2015 Meet-Up

Hi, everyone!

The World Post Day 2015 Meet-Up has reached it's conclusion yesterday, 

October 7, 2015 at 1pm up to 3:30pm.

Armed and complete with my paraphernalla for the World Post Day 2015, I organized a Meet-Up with a fellow Las Piñas City resident or Las Piñera, Jasmin T. Rañola, who is a Stamp Collecting Aficionado since she was young.

The Meet-up was arranged with the Las Piñas City Post Office and was held at both Las Piñas City Central Post Office supposedly with snacks at the nearby SM Center Las Piñas at Cafe France, but  we had our lunch instead.

Jasmin arrived early prior to our 1pm set time for the Meet-Up.  I arrived 2 hours earlier, while Jasmin arrived almost an hour early, as both of us hadn't taken our lunch yet.

We hit it off immediately and found ourselves a new friend in our hobby of stamp collecting, chit-chats on stamps, the art of stamp collecting, of postcrossing, philatelic groups and about ourselves.  We may even be travel companions in the future for Stamp Exhibitions and for me added is Postcard Collecting and Maximaphily.

Jasmin brought along from her recent travel, postcards from Dakak (from Dipolog City) as souvenir for me.  She regaled me stories of her Dipolog vacation, as she wrote on my Travelling Friendship Notebooks and signed the Meet-Up Postcards.  While, I leaf thru her Stamp Album in wonderment seeing the various stamps both here and abroad that she has collected for over numerous decades.

We proceeded to the Las Piñas City Post Office to mail off our Meet-Up Cards and take Jasmin to a mini tour of the said Post Office:

My Postcrossing Status & Postcards Received - March 17, 2015

Hi, everyone!

I have been on an online break and have been offline for a few days and had taken respite in my own bedroom to indulge on television and work on my cards and a few art pages.

It's quite difficult to re-learn to watch television shows again.  I hope to take things light and not go on a merry-go-round with feelings and emotions with each show or movie shown on TV. {sigh}

I had taken leave from all of my postcrossing activities a few weeks ago.  And I could already feel the sadness of not receiving so many postcards in my mail.  I'm glad that I could rest from my daily postcrossing routine and of being active in various postcrossing forums, and from my swapping of postcards too.

But I do miss looking at postage stamps and the feeling of writing at the back of each postcard I want to send to my recipients together with affixing postage on the back of each postcard.  Sometimes, it's all work, albeit a lot of work for me to do so.  And I'm glad for the opportunity to take a rest from it.

I'm still to renew my P.O. Box rental as I still have a lot of pending and in transit postcard swaps, travelling postcard envelopes and travelling notebooks.  But I'm winding down from travelling notebooks and travelling postcard activities since last year.  Just waiting for all my notebooks, postcard envelope and mini scrapbook's return from travelling.

Anyway, I'm back sharing the few postcards received on March 17, 2015.
