"Photobooth sMiLes" for Sketches4All

For the month of April 2012 at Sketches4All,  I have another sketch challenge for you using my own created sketch.  Create CARD or an LO with the sketch below. . .

You just need to:
1. Upload your LO in the Sketches4All's gallery with a tag: Kath’sSketch3
2. Challenge starts Apr. 1, 2011 and ends Apr. 30, 2011 (at Manila, Philippines timezone). To view Manila time: http://localtimes.info/Asia/Philippines/Manila/

3.  Upload your LO also to my challenge discussion thread in Sketches4All.

I had a relaxing time creating this LO. . . though I admit the Echo Park's Little Girl papers used are really girly.  It would have been perfect for a little girl's LO but I had to use a different photo, for my vintage little girl's photo would have been off for this line . . . hmmm unless I could have printed them in b&w?  (oh! didn't think of that!)

Anyway, I decided to make use of the paper for a photobooth shot of a recent wedding the family attended last January.  The bride & groom's motif were of "girly" girl pink and was so much perfect for EP's "Little Girl" line.  I just added embellishments from our local brand:  All About Scrapbooking's "Rouge de Garance" line of embellishments for a more festive and older girly girl look, right? ;-)

Hope you all like my LO!!

CHALLENGES ENTERED:
1. Joan's Textile Layout Challenge at MSW for Apr 2012 - using embroidery floss, felt & pleated satin
2. Andrew's Spring Fling BlogHop Challenge at CC - 12x12 spring LO

"Easter Bunny" & "Easter Egg Birthday" Card for Sketches4All

For the Easter Contest at Sketches4All,  I'm hosting a Card or LO Sketch Challenge with an "Easter" and / or "Birthday" theme.  I'm offering (2) sketches for the double celebration - (2) occasions or (2) themes, (2) inspirations & (2) DT samples.  I just came up with the 2nd sketch and sample a few days ago.

For the prize draw:
Using only Easter or birthday theme renders 1 point.  Using both Easter & birthday theme on your card gives you 2 points.  If you choose to become a follower of my blog, it's an additional 1 point. More ways to earn points for more chances to earn & win a small RAK/prize from me.

Why add a birthday theme?  I'm not sure if everyone know that it's my birthday on April 3 which happens to fall on the duration of this Easter Contest.  Thus, an added option.  How fun it would be to view birthday or much more Easter birthday Cards for my challenge.  What else could a birthday girl ask for?

Don't forget to upload your entries on Sketches4All's discussion thread under the Special Events Section under the Forums tab.

My card sketch inspirations:

My DT Sample - my 1st digital card:

My traditional card sample:

Hope you all get to enjoy creating for Easter

Kath, the birthday girl
