My body is still sore from the whole day baking activity I had yesterday (Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011). It was a 6-hour no-sitting & non-stop baking. But the all-day work did pay off when my baked goods turned out tasty and merited the approval of our chef, my parents and everyone at home.
I know my parents are hard to please when it comes to food. Thus, I was relieved and a bit proud that my baked doughnuts turned out to be at par to those found at premium coffeeshops in the metropolis. {wink, wink} I just hope that I could duplicate what I've learned at home. hahaha {crossing my fingers}
I was too tired to take great food shots of my doughnuts yesterday. In fact, I almost forgot to take a photo of finished goods to keep as remembrance as they were fast being consumed at home. lol Below are the photos of the various doughnuts we were able to make last Saturday:

Honey glazed choco doughnuts & Jelly doughnuts |
Choco walnut doughnuts, Choco glazed regular doughnuts & Honey glazed regular doughnuts |
Stay tune for future postings of my baked goods for the next 4 weeks. I never thought I'll enjoy baking again after 20+ years of shying away from it. {sigh} I just hope I can handle the next 4 weeks of baking. As they say no pain, no gain.
Boy do these look over-the-top yummy, Kath!! Good for you for completing the baking so far!! Can't wait to see more tempting treats!
