Final Revised Version of the Gatefold Card for Supreme Scrap Tournment Card Challenge #2

I don't think I can go on revising and revising my gatefold card anymore after this.

It's really a white to off-white shade of colors this time.  From changing even the cream colored buttons to white and priming up all the leaves and background paper to white. . .  upon request by the organizers to comply with the monochromatic hues.

Here's the final and last revision I could do to my very own gatefold card for the Supreme Scrap World Tournament #2:

My tea dye inked portions on the inside of my card, I did my best to cover them in white and all my heart stamps are now covered in silvery white instead of the tea dye ink showing so much of itself.  It's as silver as a silver bullet can be.  I really don't want to reach this point where I have already made my hearts all silver as hard as a silver bullet is.

My abaca twine are not the earthly regular twine and are in off-white creamish color, as one of the organizers would point out to the threads color.

I'll be showing you how my gatefold card has undergone 3 changes in the entire duration of Card Challenge #2 in SST:

FINAL REVISED CARD:
all hearts in tea dye are now covered in silvery white ink.  It's all I have here with me.  White acrylic painted hearts will make all hearts on my card disappear and non-existent or visible for everyone to see.  This is the time that I did wish I could have gotten white crackle paint for those.  Thus, I have to make do with silvery white ink from MS.

REVISED CARD:
butterfly all covered in white medium and so is the leaf on the front of the card

"Kam Boat" Digital LO for Inspiredbydominic Designs

Hi, everyone!

I've been tinkering with a previously released digital kit while the whole team went on vacation for the month of January 2014.  I guess I also went on a month's vacation from all my digital designing stint as both my digital designer went to take a month off at the same month.

I went over my working files of photos to work on and I still have lots of family photos from last year to create an LO for.  So, I decided to work on a collection that has been with me while working as Shine Squad with:

Inspired by dominic Designs (IBDD) with:

"Summer Play" digital kits

I had so much fun creating with the digital kit and
here I am now sharing my digital LO project with IBDD:

"Another Mini Book Project" for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #211 - Buttons and Twine

I'm still so fascinated with the selection of mini book kit designs I found at one of the nearest bookstores in my area which is Little Town Office and School Supply.  Here I am sharing another mini book project for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #211 with a mini recipe challenge of "Buttons and Twine".

I utilized 2 digital stamps from the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Sponsor which is QKR Stampede.  I have their Kite digital stamp on the front cover of the mini book and the bookend digital stamp at the back cover.  Without further ado, here's a look at my mini book project:

I have 2 kites printed in 2 colors of cardstock; added ribbons and cord that adorned my mom's bouquet of flowers when she attended a wedding (she was one of the principal sponsors) and topped them all with flowers with a brad.

"Kath's Birthday LO for Jazzy Jazz of PCA" for the Filipino Scrapbookers Sketch Challenge #45

Hello, everyone!

It's 2 days after Valentine's Day and still a weekend today, being a Sunday.  I'm still wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day celebration with my LO for the Filipino Scrapbookers Sketch Challenge #45:

It's an 8x8 traditional LO created as a post-birthday gift to Jasmin Arandilla (aka Jazzy Jazz at the Philippine Crafters Association).  She celebrated her birthday also last 4th quarter of 2014 with a birthday LO contest at PCA.  I guess though late, I'm greeting her still a Happy Birthday!!

I utilized SBDO's Stitchy Stamps Duet Duet digital stamp colored with Faber Castell coloring pens.  I've added some washi tape as background and stitching with the help of Sew Easy from WRMK.  Fussy cut-outs from WRMK pattern papers bought from Gourdo's Store and colorful 3-Dimensional chipboard flower with self-adhesive from All About Scrapbooking.  I just need to add a dedication for Jazzy at the back of the LO and at the top right portion of the LO shown above.

Here's FSCB's inspirational sketch:

More Refined "Gatefold Card with Irish Blessing Quote" for the Supreme Scrap Tournament Challenge #2

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's me again back with a more refined version of my "Gatefold Card with an Irish Blessing Quote" as entry to the Supreme Scrap Tournament Card Challenge #2:  Create a 3D monochromatic card of any colour scheme of your choice with no use of cutting machine.

Here are photos of card entry: (refined this afternoon to be re-submitted) I hope these set of photos of my card project thoroughly qualifies me for the 2nd card challenge round for SST.  A predominantly off-white colour scheme 3D gatefold card done with much dry embossing of various designs and border punches and lots of DIY flowers from doilies in my stash of supplies and DIY flowers out of white "katcha" fabric (almost cheesecloth in material) way back in the olden days.

DETAILS OF THE GATEFOLD CARD'S INSIDE:

First layer: Pattern paper base adhered on white cardstock, smudged and primed with gesso for an off-white appeal.
Second layer:  a seprate white cardstock triple dry embossed with only 2 emboss designs in 3 parts of the cardstock going three passes on my cuttlebug.  Inked for a more elaborate visual of the design.
Third layer: one big doily trimmed on one side and adhered on top of the embossed cardstock.
Fourth layer: 2 border strips of white cardstock double border punched with embossed details on top and bottom horizontal edges.  Carefully adhered.  Decorated with primed up with gesso Prima flowers layered on one side.  Added crocheted Jolee's flowers and adorned with natural colored abaca twine and rhinestones.
Fourth layer:  On top of the doily, created a DIY flower out of white "katcha" fabric.  Further layered with primed with gesso leaf, primed with gesso prima flower and on the very top an off-white crocheted Jolee's tulip flower with rhinestones.
Fifth layer:  An Irish Blessing cling stamp utilized to stamp the quote on a white cardstock.  More stamping with a wooden heart stamp and a swirl cling stamp for more intricate design.  Trimmed the white cardstock with the quote border punched at the top and lower edge of the cardstock.  Popped for dimension on all the layers on the left inside of the card.
Final touches of inside of the card:  adornment of more off-white mini flowers, buttons primed with gesso all over (some beneath the white mini flowers with only one left visible), and a buttefly accent primed in white gesso script impressed with a script embossing folder.

Here are more angle shots of my gatefold card:

The card's front:
DETAILS OF THE GATEFOLD CARD'S FRONT:

Doilies from Greenbrier were utilized to form a DIY flower, adhered and glued on the card front.  This is secured with a button with a white mini flower on top with a leaf primed with gesso as accent.

Here's wishing to qualify with this revised / refined gatefold card of mine for the second round of Supreme Scrap World Tournament Card Challenge #2.
