“Cheers to Retirement” Card for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #134: For Someone Older Than Us

Kaboodle Doodles' Challenge #134 is "Tribute to Someone Older than Us". You could submit any project as long as it fits the challenge theme. Winner to be drawn randomly with sponsor prize of $10 voucher from Di's Digi Downloads Tues, September 4, 2012 at US timezone. Participants have until Sun., September 2, 2012 to link their entries at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.

The card project, I did for this week's challenge is a more appropriate card for our former KD head, Chris.  She's now embracing her retirement years upon leaving the helm of Kaboodle Doodles. And I guess a toast is very timely for this phase and milestone in her life.  I guess the same goes with me as I embrace a less stressful life which I also considered my retirement phase at an early age.  So, I would like to dedicate this card project of mine to Chris . . . saying: "Cheers to Retirement!"
