SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT FINALISTS for the Creo by Lady Katutz Milestone Contest

Hi!

This is the 3rd installment of sharing finalists to my concluded Creo by Lady Katutz 2014 Milestone Year Contest ended January 11, 2015.  Today, I'm sharing photos of the (3) Finalists our of the (8) total Contest Participants under the Scrapbook LO (mixed media or art page LO) category.

They are as follows:

(USA)

an art page in a dedication album / book.  Page done with a half-page painted sunburst and painted hexagons with letter die-cuts to form the word ART where the letter R is matted in a corked bottlecap diligently excuted and done.  With a woman die-cut utilizing corrugated cardboard with an aim in recycling for emphasis with environmental causes.

With a quote of:  

"ART is therapy."  

A strong message to come by for those afflicted with lots of illnesses.  A beautiful and well executed Mixed Media Page.

Emilia van den Heuvel 
(Netherlands)

Done in wonderful vintage theme which sometimes characterizes the works of Emmy, the scrapbook page alloted for her was done with lots of base washi tapes and lots of layers of vintage quotes, vintage hues of pattern papers and graphics fussy cut from vintage patterned papers.  Such wonderfully done and put together not to be claustrophobized with the layers and clusters but to be in awe at the vintage theme with a resounding message denoted by the scrapbook art page.

The message quote says:  

"WISHES are the Magic in our Heart that Cause Beautiful Things to Happen."

Melanie Anne B. Cheng 
(Philippines)

a wonderful mixed media page done on a notebook page, backed with colorfully bright patterned papers which is characteristically K&Company in look and appeal.  Done with artistic mediums to depict a tranquil page of birdcages on the right, with a fussy cut stamped and paper pieced Prima doll decored on the right.  Topped off with a few flowers from her stash and a wonderfully handwritten dedicated quote.
