Hi!
I'm a bit shy to share in a post my 8th batch of 2015 CBLK postcard.
I have only fathomed or thought of how nice it would be if someone could honor me to have a photo of me printed into a postcard. It is not something I really thought of as useful for me to send to postcrossing recipients, but just to have and receive a thoughtful gesture from someone or a community I'm with, who would do it for me. Maybe not in this time and age, but sometime in the future. But, when is it best to be done in the future, as I have relinquished most of my voluntary posts with various communities for the previous years? And now, I'm glad to take rest and the backseat from administrative and activity hosting duties. . . . except for voluntary postings from me at each community's Facebook pages.
I received a request from a new friend in the USA. He's one of the veteran and world renown maximaphilist and philatelist from the USA. And, he suggested for me to have my own photo and portrait maxicard. It's one way to be honored in being asked to have something like that done for me.
We discussed costs and I have to cut down on my budget for this and produce my own photo / portrait postcards for his approval and I've already sent these to him to convert them into maxicards . . . . with my photo / portrait stamps and all from him in the USA.
As of now, I'm waiting for his receipt of my photo / portrait postcards, all paid for.
Now, sharing my photo / portrait postcards:
