World Post Day 2015 Meet-Up

Hi, everyone!

The World Post Day 2015 Meet-Up has reached it's conclusion yesterday, 

October 7, 2015 at 1pm up to 3:30pm.

Armed and complete with my paraphernalla for the World Post Day 2015, I organized a Meet-Up with a fellow Las Piñas City resident or Las Piñera, Jasmin T. Rañola, who is a Stamp Collecting Aficionado since she was young.

The Meet-up was arranged with the Las Piñas City Post Office and was held at both Las Piñas City Central Post Office supposedly with snacks at the nearby SM Center Las Piñas at Cafe France, but  we had our lunch instead.

Jasmin arrived early prior to our 1pm set time for the Meet-Up.  I arrived 2 hours earlier, while Jasmin arrived almost an hour early, as both of us hadn't taken our lunch yet.

We hit it off immediately and found ourselves a new friend in our hobby of stamp collecting, chit-chats on stamps, the art of stamp collecting, of postcrossing, philatelic groups and about ourselves.  We may even be travel companions in the future for Stamp Exhibitions and for me added is Postcard Collecting and Maximaphily.

Jasmin brought along from her recent travel, postcards from Dakak (from Dipolog City) as souvenir for me.  She regaled me stories of her Dipolog vacation, as she wrote on my Travelling Friendship Notebooks and signed the Meet-Up Postcards.  While, I leaf thru her Stamp Album in wonderment seeing the various stamps both here and abroad that she has collected for over numerous decades.

We proceeded to the Las Piñas City Post Office to mail off our Meet-Up Cards and take Jasmin to a mini tour of the said Post Office:
