Kaboodle Doodles' Challenge #107 is "Food, Baking or Cooking". You could submit any project as long as it fits the challenge theme. Winner to be drawn randomly with sponsor prize of $10 voucher from Di's Digi Downloads Tues, Feb. 28, 2012 at US timezone. Participants have until Sun., Feb. 26, 2012 to link their entries at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
I've been procrastinating over creating any project documenting my baking adventure last Nov to Dec 2011. I guess I got caught up with the Holiday Season and the opportunity only presented itself now thru Kaboodle Doodles' challenge to create a mini album on my 6 day baking session with an experienced chef and classmate.
I made use of Di's Digi Downloads "Cherry Cake" digital image with a mixture of papers from Nikki Sivils Gingerbread Line, All About Scrapbooking and from Making Memories' Dilly Dally Paper Collection. Without further ado, here are the photos of the pages of my cupcake mini album:
SUPPLIES: Patterned Papers: Nikki Sivils, All About Scrapbooking, Making Memories; Specialty Paper: Star Paper Corp.; Chipboard Cupcake Mini Album: Papermania; Chipboard Embellishments: All About Scrapbooking; Foam Sticker Embellishments: All About Scrapbooking; Other: Foil Paper, Assorted Ribbons, Christmas trimmings; TOOLS: Letratag: Dymo.

This album is absolutely adorable, Kath!! What a perfect way to showcase your baking!!
ReplyDeleteI love your cupcake album, and I hope you enjoyed your baking class.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments you left on my blog re. my card and cupcake bites. I would say that you can use any sponge cake for the recipe, along with any butter icing mix - I think I would be brave enough to use my own icing next time - you would just need to add a small amount of icing to the crumbled cake at a time until you got the right consistency to roll into small balls. And just normal cooking chocolate that can be melted worked well for me. Definitely, the chocolate cake with chocolate icing that I made last year was my favourite.
Good luck with making yours.
Love, Andrea xx
This is such a great idea Kath! Love how you've made a cupcake recipe book and decorated it. Beautifully designed. Have a lovely day. Hugs Bettina xx
