Before the official grand opening of the brand new sketch site: "Let's Get Sketchy", we're having daily DT reveals for everyone to get to know the 1st batch of DTs making up the Let's Get Sketchy site. Aside from this, we're having a bunch of mini challenges for the month of February 2012. These are all for the time being while we count the days 'til the 1st Monday of March being March 5, 2012 which is the official opening of the site.

And here's my DT sample LO:
SUPPLIES: Pattern Paper: Echo Park; Doily Paper: Echo Park; Alphabet: All About Scrapbooking; Flowers: Prima; Gems: Prima; Stickers: Echo Park, Glitter Glue: Leeho, Pen: Parker.
My inspiration for my layout:
I sooo wanted Disney and girly themed cakes when I was still young and I guess up to now. But with my age right now. . . I just don't know if it's still appropriate. And I think they are such a frivolous indulgence. But nevertheless, I love them and stand in awe gazing on cakes like these. When a chance to bake my own Disney Princess Carriage Cake came up at a class, I was reluctant and unbelievingly grabbed the chance to do it. Though there's no special occasion, it was like a dream come true. At that instance, I felt like a child again looking for girly and other fine things. And now, how I wished I have my own little girl waiting at home to give my baked Princess Carriage Cake to which was lovingly and carefully baked by me. {sigh}
Thanks Brenshevia for your inspiration sketch, Mother's Cookie Jar for the wonderful time and Lasting Impressions for the Echo Park papers. Loving EP, now! ♥
For more DT inspiration, drop by "Let's Get Sketchy". This Impromptu Challenge ends February 28th of 2012. So, hurry and join in on the fun and excitement! And don't forget that we're also having an Echo Park Collection kit give-away at the said sketch site. Hurry and join in for a chance to win!!
