Kaboodle Doodles' Challenge #124 is "Celebrate Your Country's Independence Day". You could submit any project as long as it fits the challenge theme. Winner to be drawn randomly with sponsor prize of $10 voucher from Di' Digi Downloads Tues, Jun. 26, 2012 at US timezone. Participants have until Sun., Jun. 24, 2012 to link their entries at the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
We usually celebrate our country's Independence Day with the family at home. If not, we would sometimes dine outside. But we don't join the revelry done at our National Landmarks. We would rather watch them on TV.
I have no photos ready for this challenge for I really want to make a layout. Thus, I looked back at past scrapped photos and found a previous year's dinner with the family out-of-town. We were sort of relaxing away from home and away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Though the dinner was days after our Philippine Independence Day, I consider it a kind of celebration for my mom chose to dine in a Filipino restaurant named Crisostomo with Filipino cuisines you could boast of. Isn't it perfect? "Tangkilikin ang sariling atin!"
I just added a lot of embellishments to
make my LO more festive and alive.
Without further adieu, here's my LO for this KD's challenge:
