Hi, everyone!
I'm back sharing another card project for Supreme Scrap Tournament for Card Challenge #2 - create a 3D card in monochromatic color.
Here are photos of my 3D Gatefold Handmade Card:
I first created the inside of my gatefold card with lots of layers: a base layer of pattern paper followed by an embossed white pattern paper which was double and triple embossed. Another layer of paper doily with my DIY white fabric "kacha" flower, layered with another primed flower (white mediums applied) and primed leaves and to top it up with a crocheted flower from Jolee's Botique. Top and bottom are double punched and embossed border strips of white cardstock, layered with more primed Prima flowers and crocheted Jolee's Botique flowers and natural colored abaca twine all over the border strip.
A stamped quote of an Irish Blessing on a white cardstock with more wooden heart and swirly cling stamping which is properly border punched at top and bottom and finally popped up for dimension, adorned with more flowers and a butterfly. Buttons here and there with some to give dimensions to white mini flowers as well with rhinestones and the like.
The "Irish Blessing" read as:
"May the wings
of the butterfly
kiss the sun,
and find your
shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck,
happiness and riches,
today, tomorrow
and beyond."

My gatefold card squeezed shut. A big flower created DIY out of baking cupcake doilies with a buttons and a flower with leaves and rhinestone to seal the gatefold card shut.
Lovely as ever,
