Before discovering Scrapbooking, I've been dabbling with Cross-stitching. I've been sooo into needlecraft (counted cross-stitch) that I began giving cross-stitch souvenirs as gifts to friends and relatives. From decorating my room to the whole house with framed cross-stitches of mine. I ventured into gift-giving and added a few gift items to sell for Christmases. My cross-stitches as wedding souvenirs and other gift items as Christmas give-aways.
But now that Scrapbooking has now become my main hobby, cross-stitching has taken the back seat with my cross-stitch materials taken into hiding save for the few stitchings that I would add to my scrapbook layouts and cards. Thus, for me to formally say goodbye and adieu to my needlecraft days, I've devoted a mini album for this needlecraft hobby now shelved in lieu of scrapbooking.
I hope you enjoyed perusing or viewing the contents of my mini album that will serve as a reminder for me of my needlecraft and gift giving days to family and friends with the said craft.
I hear ya! I used to be really into cross-stitching, too. But I've been doing less and less of it since I got more into papercrafting. For me, part of the reason for this is that I'm a slow stitcher but a fast scrapper.
ReplyDeleteYour album is a great idea, and I really like the round shape and dimensional embellies.
