Sending out my very 1st Maxicards and . . . finds here and there

Hello, everyone!

I'm glad to be going around a little bit day-to-day or even just for week-to-week.  Last week, I went to one of the nearest shopping mall for some window shopping for my special needs in postcrossing, arts and crafts.

On to my specialty bookstores, I got some fabulous finds.  Another set of notebooks again. LOL  But these lot are mini notebooks and journals that I just can't refuse.

I bought them and started working on 2 out of 6 journals.

Here they are:

3 mini journals that really reminds me of my 2 challenge blogs that I'm giving up on by the end of the month of March 2014; 2 art journals of Monet and Van Gogh; and 1 quote Cherish mini journal.
Such wonderful finds at NBS.

These 2 mini journals, I've started decorating the back and front covers with my name and more embossed on the covers.  Wax seals embossed at the back too with my name again. =)

--o0o--

I've been working on joining a Maxicard Swap Group at Postcrossing.com and had set my eyes on it as early as 3 weeks ago.  I would frequent our Las PiƱas City PO to look for means and how I could be able to do it.  And just last week, I saw a chance for me to send 1 set of Maxicard.  I hurriedly inquired at the Postcrossing.com's Maxicard Group and told them of my circumstance.  And I went to my Post Office again and was able to secure the stamps to affix on the front to make my card a Maxicard.  The rest was history . . . . =)

The included me in the group and I got my Maxicards underway just this Monday, March 24, 2014.  Looking, inquiring and making a way for me to be able to release more Maxicard from the Philippines internationally thru Postcrossing.com

I suddenly got 1 of my Mini Journals, the one I'm yet thinking how to personalize or customize to make it my very own, and I had my very 1st entry onto the very 1st page of the journal.  It's to document the Maxicards I'll be sending out.

Hopefully, I'd be able to find a notebook to affix an extra sample of the very Maxicard I'm and I'll be sending out for my own collection.  Properly postmarked or cancelled and if possible, authographed too.

Here's the photo of my very 1st entry on my Cherish mini journal:
Wishing I could affix the stamp affixed on the card making it a Maxicard and also the postmark or cancellation too stamped on the very 1st page before my entries of Maxicards sent out with that batch of Maxicard design for a swap.

Still waiting for postcards from postcrossers drawn thru Postcrossing.com,
but unfortunately I've only received 1 postcard thru the Postcrossing.com.

The rest of the postcards I'll be showing here are from swaps at the Postcrossing.com Forum other than the Postcrossing.com main site.

Hoping for more postcards to reach me coming from the main Postcrossing.com's main website.

For now, here are the postcards received last March 18, 2014:

More on my Bencab Art Journal . . .

Hi and Good morning, everyone!
(5:32am as I start drafting my post to share on my blog)

I have already share similar posts of what I'd like to share here with all of you.
I have 1st written about this at the Filipino Scrapbookers - Let's Get Scrappy (the Filipino Scrapper's Community's writing blog) and also wrote about this at the Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog, as I have promised my Designers before I started sharing my Art Journal with them.

It's my very 1st Art Journal.
It's also my first Bencab Art Journal.
{purchased from Bencab Museum's gift and souvenir shop when my family visited last December 2012}

Christmas Season 2013, I had my very Bencab Art Journal volunteered to be an Art Travelling Journal for my Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog's Design Team.

Those who participated are only Bessie E. del Rosario-David; Nathalie Cabbie Jane L. Lopez-Jaena and Gem Jemie Ime P. Oranga-Sy.  Pardon me.  Here are their pages:

pages now from Bessie:

 pages now from Cabbie:

pages now from Ime:

As the Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Blog's Travelling Art Journal Activity has concluded last December 2013 and there are a lot more pages to be filled-up, here's me wishing for more opportunity to have artists (in the Philippines and abroad) to have the time and accord me the privilege on having them add to my Bencab Art Journal by doing an art page for me on this very Bencab notebook.

Please pardon me in this effort . . .

Thank you so much for viewing!!

Much regards,

"Another Mini Book Project" for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #216 - Dreaming of Spring

I guess I never got enough of the Enogreeting.com's Mini Book kits from Little Town School and Office Supply.  That's why, here I am with another mini book project for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #216 with a theme of "Dreaming of Spring".

This time the Kaboodles Doodles Challenge #216 is sponsored by a former fellow Kaboodle Doodles DT, Nanette van der Veen of Scrap-4-Kids.com together with her Sunny Side Up Creations.  I utilized her heart with wings embellishment on the cover of my mini book kit on a predominantly Paris black and red theme.

Without further ado, here's my mini book project:
